MEMBERSHIP

The purpose of these Guidelines is to provide a framework associated with Membership fees and to outline the financial accountability recording of Membership fees. These guidelines apply to all TURKINDI financial or non-financial members.

General Membership only $250.00 Per Year.

General requirements for calculation and levying of fees

TURKINDI will set and publish on its website a standard annual organisation and individual membership fee payable.

If a member joins part-way through a year, membership fees will be calculated and adjusted according to the fee applicable at the time.

TURKINDI will invoice an organisation or individual on a request to become a financial member. The invoice will clearly indicate the actual membership fee and it’s applicable year.

For Individuals eligible for life exemption, as recognition of prior support, the fee may only be waived by the unanimous vote of the TURKINDI Board for individuals.

Membership fee waivers/exemptions

On lodgment of the ‘Application Form - Fee Concession/Exemption’, TURKINDI will consider membership fee waivers/exemptions in accordance with Section 2 of these guidelines.

TURKINDI will not request a membership fee from an individual who is in the employ of an institution/organisation that is a financial member of TURKINDI.

Where departmental policy (to be verified) does not permit a Commonwealth or State Government organisation to pay membership fees, the TURKINDI Board will consider a written request from the organisation for an alternative in-kind and/or sponsorship option in lieu of the standard yearly organisation membership fee.

General Concessions

The TURKINDI Board will consider and decide the eligibility of Concession Cards.
